Fanfare for St. Cuthbert – Trumpet Choir

This fanfare was composed for the dedication of the new St. Cuthbert Episcopal Church sanctuary in 2009. Originally written for brass sextet, it has been adapted for trumpet ensemble. The fanfare, lasting a little over one minute, starts with a pointed trumpet flourish followed by a lyrical melody ending again in a joyful brilliance. The bottom two parts may be performed on either trumpet or flugelhorn. Moderate difficulty.
